Winners of the 2015 City Snapshot Poll

City Snapshot Winners

Last month, we invited you to cast your vote for the 2015 City Snapshot series locations. We’ll be updating the snapshots from last year (Yonkers, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, White Plains, and Peekskill), plus adding two new communities to the series. And it was up to you to choose!

On the ballot were four of the Westchester County school districts with the largest populations: Bedford Central School District, Mamaroneck Union Free School District, Ossining Union Free School District, and Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District.

Based on your votes, we’re excited to announce that the winners are…

Ossining and Port Chester!

Ossining Union Free School District includes the Village and Town of Ossining and parts of Briarcliff Manor, Yorktown, and New Castle. Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District includes Port Chester and part of Rye Brook.

So what’s next?

We plan to release the seven snapshots at the beginning of August. To make sure you don’t miss them, subscribe to the blog (look for the green “SUBSCRIBE TO BLOG” box in the sidebar to the right, or just click here).

Not to let the cat out of the bag, but we have more exciting news that we’ll be announcing on the blog soon! Hint: It’s free, has to do with data, and you’re invited! Stay tuned!
