The 2025 Budget for Westchester County has been approved by the Board of Legislators and signed by County Executive George Latimer. Contained within it are several advocacy wins, including:

  • Restoration of full funding to Westchester Works Childcare Scholarship
  • $75 million to childcare subsidies
  • $9 million to nonprofits that provide essential services
  • $50 million for affordable housing development as well as legal services and eviction diversion supports.
