Allison Lake, WCA Executive Director, was a featured on the June edition of WCNY PBS Connect NY, they examined the state’s goal to cut child poverty in half by 2032. Allison is on New York State’s Child Poverty Reduction Advisory Council, and the discussion was around if anything in the current state budget put a meaningful dent in child poverty rates, and debate the different policy options to address the problem.
