The Poverty Pulse Dashboard is an initiative of the Westchester Children’s Association designed to centralize key data indicators across multiple nonprofit sectors. Developed in partnership with five frontline organizations—914Cares, Feeding Westchester, The Sharing Shelf, United Way of Westchester, and Westhab—the dashboard provides a real-time snapshot of poverty and unmet needs across Westchester County. Data is updated quarterly to track trends, inform advocacy, and support data-driven solutions for children and families.
Why it matters: Too often, rising need is felt by families and service providers long before it shows up in public data. The Poverty Pulse Dashboard elevates frontline insights, helping policymakers, funders, and community leaders respond more quickly, allocate resources more effectively, and center children and families in decision-making.
