Follow These Easy Steps to Become a Registered Voter in New York:

1. You can register online using the electronic voter registration form. OR 1. Download the New York Voter Registration form.

1. Download the New York Voter Registration form.
2. Complete all portions of the form.
3. Mail the completed form to your County Board of Elections (25 Quarropas St., White Plains, NY 10601 for Westchester residents).

Who Should Register?

Anyone who is a parent, caretaker, teacher, neighbor, community member, or child advocate should actively and regularly exercise their right to vote. When constituents voice their concerns and priorities, elected officials listen! In short, you should register to vote if you care about children and youth and:
  • Have never registered to vote,
  • Have moved since the last election, or
  • Have not voted in the past five years

Vote for Kids

The Vote for Kids campaign, is a nonpartisan led by Westchester Children’s Association, that focuses on making children’s issues a priority. This initiative provides resources for advocates, parents, and community members to ensure that the needs and rights of Westchester’s youth are a key part of the public conversation among candidates, elected officials, and the media.

16 and 17-Year-Olds Can Now Pre-register to Vote in New York!

Exciting news for young New Yorkers! If you’re 16 or 17 years old, you can now pre-register to vote in New York. This means you can fill out a voter registration form and be automatically added to the voter rolls when you turn 18. It’s a great way to ensure your voice is heard as soon as you’re eligible to vote in local, state, and national elections. Pre-registering is a proactive step towards participating in democracy and making sure you’re ready to vote when the time comes.
