Where Do Candidates Stand on Issues Affecting Children?

Lohud View: Vote for Kids

WCA Board member and Research and Advocacy Committee Chair, Lisa Kahn, wrote an eloquent op-ed about the importance of educating ourselves about candidates – and then voting for those who will invest in our children and our future.

“Children don’t vote, so we must do so on their behalf.”

Each year, before the November elections, WCA surveys candidates to ask them to share their views on a variety of issues affecting children, youth and families. Kahn encouraged citizens who care about our communities to spend a few minutes educating themselves about critical issues and where candidates stand on them.

On November 3rd, stand up for Westchester’s children and youth by voting for the candidates who will prioritize their needs.

By investing in our youngest citizens, we set them up for a lifetime success. An investment in our children now is an investment in the future of Westchester for years to come.
