New Faces at WCA!

Jordana has joined WCA  as the Program and Policy Associate. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker registered in New York State and has been involved in the nonprofit sector for over 6 years . Jordana graduated from Florida State University with a BSW in 2013 and received her MSW from Fordham University in 2015. Prior to graduating from FSU, Jordana interned for the Florida Office of the State Attorney‘s 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Florida as a Victim Advocate for domestic violence survivors. During her graduate program in NYC, she interned at Young Audiences New York as the Leadership and Programming MSW Intern, assisting with the organization’s strategic direction efforts. After receiving her MSW, she served as Program Manager at Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, an organization providing educational and career programs to youth in New York and San Francisco. A South Florida native, Jordana currently resides in Mamaroneck, NY.

 

Lauren Woods has joined WCA as the 2017 Summer Blumenthal Intern. Lauren is a rising junior at Cornell University majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations. She is also pursuing a minor in Developmental Sociology.  Lauren is a member of the Varsity Track and Field Team, where she does long sprints. Her sophomore year, Lauren joined the Cornell Daily Sun as a news writer.  She is also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and the Spiked Shoe Society. She is currently on a pre-law track, and wishes to attend Law School after graduation. Lauren grew up in White Plains, NY.
