Westchester Children’s Association received a grant through the Westchester Community Foundation to teach two Teen Advocacy Leadership courses. We focused the advocacy lessons around one of our priority issues, Raise the Age (click here to learn more about RTA). As part of their advocacy activities, the youth leaders were able to participate in the Raise the Age Lobby Day on March 7, 2017. We hope you that you enjoyed our youth blog series through the month of March! We will end it today with a short video of the youth participants with us in Albany putting their newly acquired advocacy skills to use!
WCA would like to thank the Westchester Community Foundation for their generous support of the Teen Advocacy Leadership program.
