[ REGISTRATION CLOSED AT 7:30 AM ON MARCH 31ST ]

Our Advocacy Breakfast for 2021 will bring together thought-leaders in education to discuss what is possible through policy and allocation of resources to ensure equity for all children in remote learning and general education during our current crisis and beyond.  Our speakers are federal and state leaders U.S. Representative Jamaal Bowman and NYS Chancellor Dr. Lester Young Jr.  Rep. Bowman leads his constituents in the northern Bronx and southern Westchester County and is the Vice-Chair of the US Congressional Committee on Education and Labor.  Dr. Young Jr. is the Chancellor of the New York State Board of Regents which is responsible for the general supervision of all education activities in the State. They will discuss how we can heal the digital divide that has been worsened by the pandemic and ensure that all children can access and benefit from the same opportunities available through education.

Our Annual Kathryn Wasserman Davis Child Advocacy Lecture is a centerpiece of our annual Advocacy Breakfast and a vehicle to bring outstanding speakers on current issues to a broad, cross-disciplinary audience concerned with children and youth in our County.

Join us for this online event on March 31st at 9 – 10 am via Zoom.

Admission is free with registration.
